LEGAL RIGHTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Children's Education Advocacy Clinic at Florida International University College of Law Legal Clinic Program is hosting the 'Legal Rights of Children with Special Needs Seminar,' and is inviting parents, legal guardians, attorneys, and the community. This event is designed to create awareness and to empower the community, parents and legal guardians of children with special needs, and to recruit and train attorneys who may be willing to accept cases on a pro-bono basis. The speakers will discuss the legal rights of children with special needs within the school setting, Social Security disability benefits children may be entitled to, among other topics.
